Working with The Rose Edit has been one of the highlights of our whole wedding experience. We are not a picture couple! We forget to take photos all the time and we are so awkward if we stand and pose. For our wedding celebration I was looking for someone to match our style and energy. Enter - Michaela. She is down to earth, fun to be around, brings a calm energy and makes you feel natural in front of the camera. Our visions aligned perfectly and she made my dreams come true! I wanted art to come through in our photos, I wanted non-traditional and I wanted someone to appear as though they were looking into our lives. It was a tall order because I wasn't sure how to convey the message to her - she nailed it!! We had so much fun working together. I told her my fears, expressed my nerves and what I wanted to ensure she looked out for in the photos - she got it all!!! She captured the best laughs, the best hugs, the best tears, the best mishaps - the best of the best. She even captured the tiny details you don't think of until you look back and see the film - she found the art. To top it all off - she's genuinely a kind person. Give her a call for your next event! I could not be more thankful that we chose The Rose Edit for our engagement and wedding photos! Michaela listened to exactly what we wanted for each shoot and exceeded our expectations! She made us feel completely at ease (as someone who hates photos this was huge) and helped us to get some of the most beautiful candid photos as well as portraits we are in love with. I have nothing but positive things to say about Michaela and her quality of work. First, she has such a calming & positive energy which is so important to have on a chaotic, big day in your life. From the first time we spoke with Michaela, we knew we wanted to work with her. She is so easy to talk to and connect with. It felt like she was just another friend with us on our wedding day!

Secondly, her work speaks for itself. She is very professional and sometimes you forgot she was there because she was trying to get candid footage. Which is what we wanted... we didn't want anything too posed. She captured our love and our wedding day so naturally.

We decided to add on the audio to our package and so glad we did!! It was such a nice addition to our wedding film. Also, if you're not sure whether or not you should add on the film camera.... DO IT!!!! That footage is some of our favorite and means so much to us. You can tell Michaela is doing what she loves... it comes through in her art. I will keep recommending her to my family & friends until she tells me to stop haha. thank you again, Michaela!!! So grateful for you!

From the moment we started working together, Michaela was super responsive and made us feel comfortable that she would be able to execute on our vision. We almost didn’t include videography as part of our wedding day, but we are immensely glad we did. The video Michaela created is one of the most special mementos we have from our wedding - it takes us right back to that day, making us smile, cry, laugh, and feel all the feels. Truly such a great experience and worth the investment! The work and creativity was top tier. Really also appreciated the open lines of communication and the expected timeline of when to receive our full wedding video! The custom wooden box and USB was so amazing as well as the hand written card. That level of detail was amazing!
